Donald Russell Limited recognises that our operations have an effect on the local and regional environment. As a consequence of this, the company Directors and Management Team are committed to continuous improvements in environmental performance and the prevention of pollution. Environmental regulations, laws and codes of practice will be regarded as setting the minimum standards of environmental performance.

To facilitate this, Donald Russell will implement polices through a coordinated environmental management team. Donald Russell is committed to minimising the impact of its operations on the environment by means of a programme of continuous improvement:

The company will use environmentally safe and sustainable energy sources to meet our needs
Consider the environmental impacts of our products at all stages of their life cycle - from purchase, processing, customer use and finally disposal.
The company will seek to address its impact on the environment through the adoption of a sustainable procurement policy. We will conserve resources through efficient use and careful planning.
To maintain that a primary part of our corporate environmental strategy is sustainable waste management and as such recognises our responsibilities to recycle materials and reduce consumption of materials wherever possible.
The company have systems in place for the collection, disposal and recycling of waste material. All processing waste is removed by licensed contractors and cardboard collected for recycling.
Working closely with our transportation companies to coordinate route planning and delivery schedules, we seek to realise the dual benefits of reduced fuel consumption and lower exhaust emissions.
In achieving our stated objectives, it is part of the company's training program that this policy is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels throughout the company. A copy of this policy is made available to the public through our website.
We will conduct an annual self-evaluation of our performance in implementing these principles and in complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
