Storage and Handling
Once defrosted do not re-freeze
Use within 48 hours of defrost starting
Preparation Advice
Defrost in fridge overnight. Carefully remove En Croûte from packaging, leaving on baking paper.
Preheat oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas 6 along with a baking tray. Brush pastry with beaten egg yolk. Place the En Croûte (still on baking paper) on to the pre-heated baking tray and cook for 50-55 minutes until crisp and golden.
Remove from oven and leave to rest for up to 5 minutes.
To serve, carefully lift the En Croûte from baking paper and carve into 2-3cm slices.
